How fast can I get set up?
Most customers are live in about 90 seconds. Drop your store URL, pick how many competitors to track (3–7) and add them (or let our AI suggest them), and you’re indexed. Your first daily scrape runs immediately, and your first weekly AI playbook lands the following Monday.
Do you support stores that aren’t on Shopify?
Yes. Compex works on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Squarespace, and most direct-to-consumer storefronts. We auto-detect your platform when you sign up.
How accurate are the alerts?
Every price change is verified against the live storefront before we surface it. Promotions are pulled from homepage banners, popups, newsletter forms, and on-site markdowns. Our false-positive rate is under 2%, we’d rather show you nothing than waste your time on noise.
How much does Compex cost?
Nothing right now. Compex is in an open alpha and is completely free while we onboard early customers and refine the product. No credit card is required to sign up. When we introduce paid plans, alpha users will get plenty of notice and a thank-you for helping us build it.
How many competitors can I track?
Anywhere from 3 to 7 competitors. You pick the number during onboarding and can add or remove rivals anytime in settings.
Will my competitors know I’m tracking them?
No. Compex only reads publicly-available data from competitor storefronts, the same pages any customer can see. Nothing is invasive, no accounts are created, and our crawl is rate-limited to stay polite.
Are the AI recommendations holiday-aware?
Yes. Compex tracks the upcoming 60 days of US ecommerce holidays: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Halloween, and more. Recommendations prioritize seasonally-relevant products.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There’s nothing to cancel during the alpha since it’s free, and you can delete your account from the dashboard whenever you like, no questions asked.
