Using Compex

By creating an account or using Compex (formerly RivalScope), you agree to these Terms. You must use Compex lawfully and only as described here.

What Compex does

Compex provides competitor-intelligence monitoring and AI-generated recommendations for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee business results, the accuracy or completeness of competitor data, the quality of recommendations, or uninterrupted service. You're responsible for any decisions you make based on what Compex shows you.

What you can monitor

You may only ask Compex to monitor lawful, publicly accessible competitor information. You agree not to ask us to crawl sites where doing so would violate applicable laws, a site's written restrictions, robots.txt, platform rules, or reasonable technical limits.

Compex may refuse, pause, or remove any monitored URL at our discretion — for example, if a target site appears to block automated access or if continued crawling could create legal or technical issues.

Plans and billing

Compex currently offers a single Starter plan at $29 / month, billed monthly through Stripe.

New accounts include a 30-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you add a payment method during the trial, billing begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from inside the app. Access continues through the end of your current billing period and your subscription does not renew after that.

Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where Compex chooses to issue a refund at its sole discretion.

Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate an account if it is used for misuse or abuse, has unpaid charges, violates these Terms, or creates a risk for other users or third parties.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of the data you provide to Compex (such as your store URL and connected catalog). You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the service for you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll update the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects your subscription, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
